We are applying for a grant to replace the retaining wall on Littlemoor Road. The wall has become unsafe and is preventing us from using the area below as a picnic area and functional space.

We’d love to know if you would be willing to support the project and hear your thoughts on how we could use the area

The concrete wall at the top of the grounds is more than an eyesore - it’s become a danger. Extensive vandalism has weakened it, and its ongoing deterioration makes it unsafe for everyone, especially our children and families who use the surrounding area.

We need to take action now to:

- Remove the Hazard:

- Replace the unstable structure before an accident occurs.

- Reclaim Our Space:

- Build a robust, low-maintenance solution that discourages future damage.

- Invest in Our Community

- Create a safe, welcoming environment for all residents.

Your documented feedback is vital in demonstrating the community's concern and the urgent need for this project, which will help us secure the necessary grant funding to make this crucial improvement.

Ryan Canning

A Fond Farewell & Massive Thank You to Ryan Canning! 🏏

After ten incredible seasons, we bid a heartfelt farewell to club legend, Ryan Canning, as he embarks on a new chapter with Burnley Cricket Club in the Lancashire League.

Since joining us in 2015, Ryan has been the epitome of commitment and class, making a monumental impact both on and off the field. His statistics speak volumes, but they only tell half the story of his dedication.

📊 Ryan’s Legacy in Numbers:

• 127 matches

• 4,349 runs at a phenomenal average of 48.32

• 32 half-centuries & 7 centuries

• Top score: 132*

• …and for good measure, 71 crucial wickets!

But beyond the numbers, Ryan has been a true leader, a mentor to our younger players, and a cherished teammate. His presence in the dressing room and his unwavering commitment to the club’s spirit have been just as valuable as any innings.

From everyone at the club - players, staff, committee, and supporters - we say a massive THANK YOU, Ryan. You leave with our very best wishes for this exciting new challenge at Burnley. You will always be part of our family, and the gates here will forever be open to you.

Good luck, Ryan!
