Dan’s Story
Dan’s Trust was founded in 2012 after the death of Daniel Bagshaw, 27, from Clitheroe who died on the finish line of an ITU Olympic distance triathlon in Hong Kong, after suffering from a sudden and unexplained arrhythmia.
Dan was a cycling enthusiast and an extremely talented and athletic young lawyer. Dan was committed to ‘Making a Difference’ to young people in the East Lancashire area and his legacy lives on in the work and commitment of the team at Dan’s Trust.
